Add donate<N> to a rig's worker name, where N is the percentage (0–100) of what that rig earns that goes to the prize pool. A donation is per rig: your other rigs keep everything they earn. The tag can be the whole worker name or a -/_ suffix:

To change or stop: rename the rig and restart the miner. It applies from that rig's next share (shares from the last hour keep the old tag if a block is found soon). Anything out of range or mistyped is treated as an ordinary worker name, so a typo can never donate more than you meant. The slice is taken from each block reward as it matures, which is also when you first appear on the wall above. Your account page shows which of your rigs are donating.

• 🪪 Where: in the Donor profile panel on your account page. It unlocks after your first donation is taken, which happens when a pool block your tagged rig mined for matures.
• 🔐 Proof: a recent mining IP or your rig's stratum password, the same proof as for a payout, but one the pool has had on record for a while. Someone who only just pointed a rig at your address cannot set a name for you.
• ✅ Names go live at once if they pass an automatic check: no reserved or blocked words, nothing that looks like a GRIN address, and not a name another donor already uses. You can change it once every 7 days. The pool can still take a name down.
• 👀 Banners and links are reviewed first: nothing you upload or link to is public until the pool approves it.
• 🔗 Link: one link shows on your card, whatever your rank: an https:// address, a Tor .onion address or a nostr:npub1… profile. Changing your donor name sends a live link back to review, so it is judged next to the name it will appear under.
• 🖼️ Banner: the top donors in the league also show a banner. 800 × 200 px is recommended; PNG, JPG or GIF (animation allowed), up to 300 KB.

A name is 2–32 characters: letters, digits, spaces and - _ . & '. A name and banner stop showing some months after your last donation, and come back when you donate again.

Not mining, or want to give a one-off gift? Send any amount to the pool's donation address. The operator adds received donations to the prize pool.

The pool fee pays for the servers. It never touches the prize pool. The two are kept completely separate — running costs come out of the fee, and the prize pool exists only to be given back to miners.

• 💚 Where it comes from — seeded by the operator, grown by miner donations, and joined by any long-abandoned balances the pool sweeps. Nothing is ever paid out of it to the operator.
• 🎉 Where it goes — community contests and special occasions, announced ahead of time. There is no fixed schedule: draws are held when there is something worth giving away.
• 🎲 How winners are picked — every draw is seeded from a Grin block hash, published with the result, so anyone can check the winner was not chosen by hand.
